National Hispanic Heritage Month
Pollo Tropical® and the Sun Sentinel’s News in Education Program (NIE) have cooked up a plan for teachers and students to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month. The two organizations partnered on the creation of a workbook for 4th graders that features fun interactive lessons in all subject areas including history, geography and health. The workbook highlights Hispanic customs, traditions, recipes, vocabulary, and countries.
